The Science labs in SAIEC allow students to garner hands-on experience of classroom transaction. Throughout the session teachers ensure that students get an opportunity for practical work in the lab in all three-science lab- Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

SAIEC has well-equipped laboratories for imparting practical knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. There is one laboratory for each of the science subjects, for classes X to XII. The science labs provide adequate equipment for every student to perform the experiments.

The laboratories in SAIEC are always well-stocked with adequate chemicals, specimens, and instruments to ensure that every student gets proper opportunity to carry out the experiments individually and effectively. Experienced and well-qualified teachers assist the students to explore the world of science through a meticulously planned schedule of practical classes.

NITI AAYOG has selected Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Centre to establish its pet project Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL). This verbalises the volumes about the School’s appetite for innovation and its pedagogy. With the setting up of ATL, the students of SAIEC now have a colossal canvas to ideate and learn innovative and emerging technologies. ATL is a dedicated workspace where students in middle school and above learn innovation skills and develop ideas that will go on to transform India. The ATL is powered to acquaint students with state-of-the-art equipment such as 3D printers, robotics & electronics development tools, IoT & sensors etc. The lab activities are designed to spur the spark of ingenuity, and transcend conventional curriculum and textbook learning. The lab will enable the students to venture into 21st century skills such as design and computational thinking, adaptive learning, and artificial intelligence.

SAIEC strongly believes in bringing out full potential of its students. All efforts are made at SAIEC to make academics and sports, compatible and complimentary for the holistic development of our students. Activity on playground develops the qualities of team work, leadership, dedication, discipline, self-confidence, and self - esteem. These qualities get imbedded in the mind and enable each student to overcome the trials and tribulations of life. Sports enable students to face the upcoming challenges of an ever increasingly competitive world.

Apart from the other sports facilities for the students, SAIEC has integrated another feature in its subsisting infrastructure with the construction of 18,500 sq. m. basketball ground, that too on the second floor. Thanks to the innovative conception and perfect execution of Mr. Sagar Agarwal who had taken this initiative, that too in a minimum possible time.

The state-of-art basketball court sanctions exhibition of true & even ball bounce. The cushion effect of shock absorbing synthetic layering abbreviates students’ fatigue & minimizes impact on their knees. The surface is anti-skid which provides safety to the players. Its top wearing acrylic surface has excellent playing characteristics which responds impeccably to all strokes, ball bounce and quick foot work in basketball game.

We strongly believe that the school is the second home for the child. SAIEC is committed to ensure the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of all its students. The school has a well-equipped four-bed infirmary within its premises. We liaise with reputable hospitals, and a doctor is immediately available on call, in order to take care of any medical emergency. We ascertain that teachers and other support staff are sensitized and made cognizant of special medical needs of students like basic fast-aid, pain management, emergency procedures etc. An annual health check-up including dental and eye check-up by specialists is a regular feature along with maintaining medical record of each and every child.

The need for safe passage of each child to school and back inhabitation is of utmost importance to the school. The school has its own fleet of buses to ensure safe travel of the students. The buses are designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers and personnel who are well aware pertaining to the needs of small children.

Our buses are equipped in accordance with all the rulings of Supreme Court. Students are accompanied by a conductor, female caretaker for small children and teacher in the buses. The transport facility of SAIEC is also equipped with a GPS and CCTV surveillance system. The safety of the students is most important hence adequate care is being taken for safety of students.

For better communication and proper efficiency in service, communication device in form of cell phones have been provided in each bus. This enables school management to efficiently handle all sorts of travel related contingencies. Besides ensuring the implementation of the safety norms, all staff on the bus is well trained in first aid and emergency management.

Students enjoy playing in the adventure zone which gives wide scope for the development of gross motor skills. The hurdles, swing, balancing blocks slides are the attractions of the adventure zone.

The school has well maintained junior science lab which is utilized to introduce the concepts of Science to the students from junior classes itself. It is set up with the objective of devising simple activities to give the students exposure to science and learn through visual examination.

Yoga’s intrinsic ability to cease the mental chatter and live in the moment trims stress and apprehensiveness. It also exhibits profound benefits in every sphere of life. Students are very stressed individuals. They are keen to outperform themselves and prove their worth in the ever-changing competitive world. Yoga avails students to deal with their stress and bring back some tranquillity of mind. Those who customarily practice yoga reports lower calibers of stress and anxiety. Subsequently, they are also able to amend their academic performances.

Being a staunch believer in the adage, "sound mind in a sound body" Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Centre has turned to yoga as an effective means of instilling a strong sense of fitness among its students. SAIEC has evolved a criterion wherein the school children will have to compulsorily take classes in yoga basics. Yoga is also included in the curriculum. There are two yoga rooms in the school which are spacious, airy, and well-lighted. The Yoga teachers are highly-trained and experienced professionals who have the drive and dedication necessary to inspire the students. The yogic postures invigorate the body and keep the mind healthy and calm bringing a feeling of refreshment. It generates positive emotions and teaches children to be gentle.

Auditorium is a vital feature of Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Centre. This grand hall has been the centre stage of several inter-school competitions, ceremonies, lectures by personalities of varied fields, music & drama, dance performances, competitions, and numerous other fun-filled and elating events.

The state-of-the-art sound system ascertains that each word is clearly audible to the audience seated in the hall. Noise rescinding acoustics allows the performance on stage to be highlighted and enjoyed in the right perspectives. The all-season air-conditioning system integrates comfort and suitability to the auditorium’s ambience. The multi-scan rear screen projection system, which is mounted on the back wall of the stage adds to the gravity and quality of the performances.

The school has two state of the art computer laboratories to urge the students into the foray of advanced computer skills. The computer labs are equipped with computing facility with Dual Core computers connected through the Local Area Network. The high-speed internet connectivity helps students to access vast intellectual resources. All the computers are equipped with updated software and advanced technical aids to learn programming languages like Python, Java, HTML besides web designing, and app-development to hone critical and analytical skills. The students are exposed to a host of integral tools to effectively ensure the overall computer technology learning under the guidance of a mentor.

The junior Computer Lab, on the other hand, enable students to minor computer applications like, Fundamental, Paintbrush, MS-Office, etc.

Kids' Room- The tender tots have lot of frolic in the kids’ room. The ball pool is the favourite play area of the kids. They relish their time in their tree house and enjoy their time to the fullest.

Adventure Zone- Students relish playing in the adventure zone which gives wide scope for the development of gross motor skills. The hurdles, swing, balancing blocks slides are the major attractions of the adventure zone.

Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Centre offers a wide variety of Art and Craft learning options. We believe that these classes are indispensable to nurture and showcase the aptitude of students. These classes are a component of the curriculum from classes VI to X and are held once weekly for every class.

The art and craft classes provide a platform to the students to test their caliber as an artist. In the Art and Craft classes students are taught sundry techniques of painting and sketching and how to engender various items of exquisite hand work.

Integration to various art forms is imperative to the all-round development of a child. Music is one of the most popular co-curricular activity subscribed by the students at SAIEC. A very equipped Music department offers a wide variety of music study instructions in both Western and Indian categories. The learning of vocal technique or an instrument teaches a child – the self-discipline that paves the way for excellence. The thought and reflection required in music making and the curiosity further makes way for creativity.

Students are trained in a wide variety of western musical instruments such as the Xylophone, Keyboard, Recorder, Flute, Saxophone, Violin, Guitars, percussion instruments, besides variety of Indian musical instruments like Mridangam, Sitar, Tabla, Dholak, Flute, etc. The music department also has a well equipped recording room.

Students are trained in the diverse range of Indian classical and folk-dance forms that flourish in different components of India with distinct cultural and aesthetic appeals. Students can also avail training in western and contemporary dance forms the team of expert dance teachers. The schools aims to promote trained dancers in classical and western styles and at the same time enhearten the rich folk culture of our country. The students are exposed to several dance forms in the dance competitions conducted at in house and other competitive levels.

The SAIEC Library is well-stocked with a wide variety of books and journals. They serve as a storehouse of information related to textbooks and beyond. The primary purpose is to inculcate reading habit amongst students.

The school library comprises of books which include fiction and non-fiction books of different genres, picture books, classics, self-help books, bilingual books, science and technology books, reference resources for students and teachers. Students have a library period every week in their regular time table. Books are issued to student through a well-defined process

An array of library activities are conducted in the school library. The activities usually involve the collaboration of both the seniors and the juniors, and serve to hone their creative and critical thinking as well as their imagination. The following are a sample of the activities that are carried out at regular intervals during the entire school year: Reading Buddy Program – a junior student is paired with a senior student, and the former sharpens his/her reading and comprehension skills under the guidance of the latter, Storytelling - A senior student enacts a story for a junior class. Literary Quizzes and competitions such as Newspaper reading, Rendering a Passage, Reading Marathon, etc.

Spread over 2507.75 square feet, the library at Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Centre, represents the school’s dynamic and cultural spirit. The library is also an ever-changing an ever-expanding entity. Every year the library attempts to add at least 10% more books in the academic as well as general interest sections.

Digital Board is an astute classroom solution which cumulates the features of a fully-functional PC, interactive touch screen and a digital teaching device. In contrast to the traditional whiteboards, Digital Boards includes a physical contact screen to enable digital inscribing, drawings, geometrical shapes, designs, presentations, etc. Owing to its diverse of features, they are touted to be an efficacious solution to fetch maximum results out of classroom transactions.

SAIEC has introduced digital touchscreen board in the senior secondary level to facilitate smart and efficacious learning in the classes. Digital Boards have eliminated the utilization of several physical medium to carry out the day to day pedagogical activities. Teaching and course content can be digitalized through digital board and shared with the students.
